FREE Westchester Community College Room 100, Classroom Building “Sex, Stereotypes and Beauty: The ABCs and Ds of Commercial Images of Women” This panel presentation by the Westcheter Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and Marcia Pappas, NOW NYS President, illustrates and describes how advertisers and the media enforce unrealistic beauty standards, sexual ideals and gender stereotypes that girls and women are expected to follow. 19	Solstice Party Friday evening 7:30 PM at Chris and Patrice’s. Save the Date! for the 2009 Summer Solstice Party! Westchester NOW members, families and their friends get together to celebrate the Solstice and elect next year’s officers and other leadership positions. Dinner’s pot luck so bring your favorite dish to share! Invitations will be mailed to members by mid-May.
