Chapter Update

You’ll notice that this issue of the Westchester NOW Newsletter is an abbreviated one. This is due to increasing financial difficulties that the chapter, and the national NOW organization, are encountering. You can help us by renewing your NOW membership promptly. How else can you help? There are a number of ways:

- Let us know if you would like to receive the Newsletter as a Microsoft Word document via Email – this will help us save on the cost of printing and postage. (Contact sburns@pace.edu)

- If you would rather not receive the file via Email, but would rather be notified that the Newsletter is available on the web site, let us know that. Added bonus: the Newsletter is available on the web site at least a week earlier than you normally receive it via postal mail! (Contact Sylvia@Softhands.net)

- The holidays are right around the corner - use the membership form on the back of this mailing to give a gift membership to Westchester NOW. Mothers, daughters, sisters, nieces, – even fathers, sons, brothers, and nephews - they could all benefit from membership! If each member of Westchester NOW gives just one gift membership this holiday season, not only will our numbers double and our coffers be filled, our voice will be stronger and our ability to sponsor events and actions on behalf of women’s issues will be increased.

- Come to the Meeting/Solstice Party on December 14^th and help us to brainstorm additional fundraising ideas.
