Summer Solstice Celebration
Friday, June 20, 2003, at 7:30 p.m.
Join NOW members at the home of NOW member Gisele Melnick off Route 9 in Hastings-on-Hudson to share good feminist company with good food and drink. Spouses, partners and friends are welcome!
Dr. Lynne Perry-Bottinger will give an introductory talk about over-all women's health and wellness. A pot luck supper will follow. If you wish to bring something please use the following guide: last names starting with A to G bring appetizers or vegetable dishes, H to R casseroles, and S to Z desserts.
We will cap the evening with a review of activities of the past year and plans for the future. We will also elect officers for the coming year.
DIRECTIONS:
- Take the Saw Mill River Parkway to Exit 12 which is Farragut Parkway (not Farragut Avenue) in Hastings-on-Hudson
- Continue on Farragut Parkway until it ends at a five-point traffic light
- Proceed past five-point light onto North Broadway (Route 9 going north)
- Almost immediately you will pass several traffic lights. At the third traffic light, make a right onto Edgars Lane
- Follow Edgars Lane up the hill and round to a stop sign (Minturn St.)
- Make a left at Minturn and an immediate left at the next street (Sheldon Place)
- Gisele's house is at 6 Sheldon Place down the street on the left at the dead-end.
- Please park on the right side of the street or one or two streets up if you cannot find a space. Call 478-0350 if you get lost.
