Facing Challenges: A Conference for Women NOW

You are invited to a conference to discuss "Challenges Facing Women NOW." What's bothering you? Sexism, women's health, body image, communicating with our children/parents, being different, women as survivors of abuse, money matters, and more? Listen, learn, and participate as these topics are discussed in a selection of workshops. Women sharing information helps other women.

Our conference on October 2nd will feature Bill Baird, noted pro-choice activist, as keynote speaker. He will outline our pro-choice history and indicate activist directions for the future.

Be a part of the solution. Join us on Saturday, October 2nd, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Pace University's Lubin Graduate Center, One Martine Avenue, White Plains. It's free and refreshments will be served. For more information call the NOW phone at 482-7744; Sioux Taylor, Conference Chair at 668-0595; or Luba Fineson, Chapter President at 834-6264.
