NOW Phone UpdateWestchester NOW can now provide to callers who request it a list of attorneys who work on sexual harassment cases. We will provide the list in writing to callers who request it via the NOW Phone (914-428-7744). The list comes with the disclaimer that the Attorneys and groups are not affiliated with Westchester NOW, nor do we specifically recommend any one attorney or group. What’s the NOW Phone, you ask? and how can you help? Westchester NOW telephone volunteers answer requests for information and make referrals to community organizations and agencies. Most volunteers take phone calls one evening each week. The NOW phone messages can be checked from the comfort of your own home ! Our outgoing message includes information about upcoming meetings and events, and about drives to support local, state, and federal legislation favoring equality. The NOW telephone is a vital link between the Westchester Chapter and the local community. Please call (914) 428-7744 if you are interested in becoming a telephone volunteer. ¨ |
